Elvis Porras
Elvis Porras is a world-renowned performer and composer. He studied at the Real Superior Conservatory of Music in Madrid under the direction of Valentin Bielsa and Demetrio Ballesteros and later taught at both the Castella Conservatory of Costa Rica and the School of Musical Arts at the University of Costa Rica. His works include over 50 pieces in the styles of Bolero, Ballard, Bossa Nova, Salsa, Jazz, Cha Cha Cha, Samba, Latin Fusion, and Spanish and Classical Guitar. He has been a contract guitarist for many hotels and is currently recording CDs of his music and performing in various solo festivals and competitions.
