As an alternative to a wedding ceremony in the walled garden, we have our own delightful chapel for smaller weddings or for larger parties we make use of Guthrie Village Church which is only a few minutes walk from the castle. Alternative locations for a civil wedding ceremoy include any one of a number of the reception rooms in the castle or for larger numbers our function suite.

A castle wedding reception venue - Our function “Pavilion”, built specifically for entertaining, can sit 300 for a dinner dance, but can also be configured to provide intimate dining for smaller groups of say 150 or even just 50, whilst parties of up to 30 can dine in the splendour of the castle’s private dining room - so what ever the size of your wedding party we are sure to be able to set up the ideal atmosphere for your wedding reception.
