Two Real Weddings by Lisa Light Featured in Fall 2011 Issue of Well Wed NY

AS SANDRA’S FAVORITE PLACE IN THE ENTIRE WORLD IS LAKE GEORGE—SHE HAS BEEN SPENDING SUMMERS THERE SINCE INFANCY— SHE IMMEDIATELY KNEW IT WAS THE PERFECT LOCATION FOR THEIR WEDDING

THE PROPOSAL. It was during Sandra’s first year of residency that the couple planned a vacation to Argentina, looking forward to a relaxing getaway. At the beginning of their trip, they stayed in the Patagonia region, on the shores of a gorgeous lake surrounded by mountains. One afternoon, Sandra and Kashie went on a short hike before dinner. Soon, they found themselves standing on a rocky lakefront, overlooking a stunning mountain view. For two hundred years Lake George has been a vacation destination for such wealthy families as the Roosevelts, Vanderbilts, and Rockefellers. When he visited in 1791, Thomas Jefferson wrote to his daughter...
