When Angelee Fox and Bob Bouchard first locked eyes, they knew: they were meant to be together, and there was no time like the present. First a Christmas engagement and a new house, then, with an April wedding to plan, they traveled to Cabo San Lucas to find the perfect spot. Both had vacationed in Cabo before, and together they found Casa del Mar, a hacienda-style boutique hotel with the best beach and view you could ever wish for.

A long weekend in Cabo wouldn't be complete without deep sea fishing, and for the early arrivers a boat was chartered for Thursday morning, which dawned bright and sunny. Who was the luckiest man on earth this weekend? If there was any question in anyone's mind, the fishing only reinforced the obvious answer: Bob brought back an 8 foot Marlin. The Casa del Mar chef grilled the catch for an intimate family dinner, and then family and guests gathered on the beach that night for a bonfire, s'mores, and folk music.

Friday was golf for those inclined, and a spa day for others. Many of Thursday's fishermen joined the women for facials, massages, and nail treatments. Suzanne Morel's Face and Body Care brought the "spa" to the guests poolside, with just the right staff and equipment to offer all takers buff, polish, and deep relaxation. Saturday night's rehearsal dinner was at Pancho's, a wonderfully colorful open air Mexican restaurant on the beach, with a mariachi band and plenty of the couple's signature mango margaritas. The men were given bandanas decorated with chili peppers, the women wore paper flowers in colors as bright as everyone's mood.

On Saturday, April 29th, with 100 family and friends as witnesses, Angelee and Bob were married on the beach. The blue of the ocean was offset by the ivory of Angelee's dress, and the pale green of cymbidium orchids. The ceremony was simple and elegant, a trio playing in the background. Cocktails, dinner and dancing on the patio followed, and lasted well into the night. After such a delightful weekend, Angelee and Bob's guests turned their thoughts back to real life, beyond the spell of Cabo's sea and sun. For Angelee and Bob, their "real life" - together - was just beginning.
