Destination Weddings in Jamaica![]() As the third largest island in the Caribbean, and one of the first to recognize and appreciate the destination wedding market, Jamaica offers a wonderful variety of wedding destinations, options, and resources. Couples can plan their wedding at one of the 150 plus hotels and resorts; on many miles of sparkling white beaches; in the jungle; in the mist of the Blue Mountains; on an historic coffee or sugar plantation; by (or under!) the cascading water of Dunn's River Falls; drifting down the Martha Brae River (one of 120 rivers on the island) on a raft; on a private island; at an exclusive, privately owned villa; in a garden surrounded by exotic orchids and butterflies; underwater, as your guests watch from a glass bottom boat; or perhaps at the James Bond GoldenEye Estate. Or, if you're really looking for something different, you can say "I do" on the beach, in the buff! Climate: Jamaica's climate is just about perfect year-round, varying in temperature from 66F to 99F, with sea-level more tropical and the interior highlands more temperate. The hurricane season lasts from June through September, but it is hard to go wrong between December and April, when the weather is ideal for just about any activity.
